For mailbox customers, we also collect identification documents required by USPS Form 1583 (primary photo ID and secondary address-verifying ID) in compliance with United States Postal Service regulations for Commercial Mail Receiving Agencies.

SMS Communications

Log Files

Mailbox Plus follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this as part of hosting services' analytics. The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.

Like any other website, Mailbox Plus uses "cookies". These cookies are used to store information including visitors' preferences and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. Mailbox Plus's Privacy Policy does not apply to other advertisers or websites. We are advising you to consult the respective Privacy Policies of any third-party services linked from our site, including our virtual mailbox partners (Anytime Mailbox, iPostal1, PostScan Mail), Atlas Shippers, Shred-it, FedEx, USPS, and Google Analytics, for more detailed information about their practices.

CCPA Privacy Rights (Do Not Sell My Personal Information)

Under the CCPA, among other rights, California consumers have the right to:

Mailbox Customer Records

As an authorized USPS Commercial Mail Receiving Agency (CMRA), we are required by USPS DMM 508.1.8 to retain completed Form 1583 and copies of customer identification documents for the duration of your mailbox service plus two (2) years after the mailbox is closed. These records may be reviewed by the United States Postal Inspection Service upon request. Records are stored securely and not shared with any other third party.

Children's Information

Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.

Mailbox Plus does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We advise you to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
